3-26 Endurance FTvirtual Server Administrator’s Guide
To replace a virtual disk:
Step Action Notes
1 Ensure that a replacement disk is
available as either a virtual or physical
disk.
If necessary, create a replacement
virtual disk (see Creating a Virtual Disk
on page 3-19). This disk is then
available for redirection as an FTvirtual
Server disk.
2 If the virtual disk is not in a Failed or
Disabled state, use the Endurance
Manager to set it to Disabled.
See the section Endurance Component States
on page 4-14.
3 Select the virtual disk under FTvirtual
Server Devices Disk Drives
Diskn; and then select Actions
Replace
or
right-click on the virtual disk then select
Replace.
4 Select a replacement disk, and click
OK.
